Little Michael makes me sad the most, because he was the most adorable thing, next to Janet. You knew even at that age, he had it.
I agree MrsG. Little Michael looked so sad and so lonely even while being praised around the world.
Yes, a sensitive genius that got torn apart by the lions of fame - I would have preferred living in Neverland too if I'd had to deal with his level of living legend status.
It was so hard to see him slowly degenerate in front of us, such a heartrending loss of great talent.
I think watching him perform at such a young age, you can see the burden on his face...the burden of being the chosen one, the one who was going to be it.
Despite the burden, he gave it everything he had...and in the end, isn't that the way it should be?
The shock of what has happened still hasn't worn off. Born in '71, I feel that I got the best of him. I totally agree with what all of you are saying about the burden Michael had to bear and the sadness. So much pressure on him from such a young age-imagine your baby or grandchild being pushed to be the breadwinner of a family and public figure.......
The alleged issues Michael suffered with in recent years is for God to handle. He was an azmazing entertainer and that remains.
Excellent choice of clips! Do you know if the "Diana" or "Goin Back To Indiana" specials are on DVD? If not, maybe MJ's death will spur whoever owns the rights to release them... maybe in a 2 disc set.
Ever since I purchased "The Essential Michael Jackson" on Thursday evening, "Blame It On the Boogie" has become one of my favorite songs. I had forgotten how good it is.
I always love watching the J5 perform "Dancing Machine" because I know that during the instrumental break, MJ is going to break out with "The Robot" and I never get tired of seeing that.

I am still. so many days later so so sad.
Just the entire story arc of his life and career. It's like a greek tragedy or Shakespeare story. So very heartbreaking. I have still been crying. Especially at the clips of his childhood. It seems to trigger eht innocence I felt as a child and loving him. Versus the breakdowns of the last few years.
I am still one of the few people who doens't believe he could have hurt children.
