Prosecutors alleged Simpson planned — and Stewart helped carry out — a plot to retrieve personal items that Simpson lost after squirreling them away to avoid turning them over to Goldman's family to satisfy part of a $33.5 million civil wrongful death judgment levied in 1997 by a California court. Four men who accompanied Simpson, Stewart and a middle man to the Palace Station casino hotel for the Sept. 13, 2007, confrontation later pleaded guilty and testified for the prosecution. Thomas Riccio, the man who arranged and secretly recorded the meeting, testified under immunity from prosecution.
I had no doubt that O. J. would be convicted. I feel he was tried for the 1994 murders of his Brown and Goldman. I’ll bet you that plenty of people are feeling vindicated tonight. It took 13 years to the day to finally convict him of the murders. Your thoughts people.

Why this dude stayed in the country is beyond me.
I totally agree with you. When I read this story yesterday, I just shook my head. If O.J. was smart, he would have gotten out of the country after the wrongful death judgement in 1997. There was no way in the world he was going to get a fair shake in this robbery/kidnapping trial.
I have zero doubt that OJ murdered Brown and Goldman. Maybe because I believe that, I don't find it much of a stretch that OJ would orchestrate/participate in the current charges against him...armed robbery and kidnapping. I don't know. These charges, for me, are just very easy to believe.
I don't believe for one second that these are some made up or exaggerated charges in order to convict OJ for something...anything to put him behind bars for the murders. I 100% think he did this, too.
Cinmike, he could have stayed in this country if had sit his ass down somewhere.
Malcolm, O. J. is dumb as hell! He knew that all eyes was on him, yet he persisted in acting a fool all the damn time. Writing books and taunting law enforcement. Like Malcolm X used to say, "It's a case of the chickens coming home to roost".
RC, there is no doubt about the last charges, he was caught on tape. I don't think it would have mattered if he did the last thing he was charged with or not because I believe he is really being convicted of the crimes committed 13 years ago.
To quote Malcolm, "If O.J. was smart . . ." Really, that's all that need be said (smile).
Lori, point taken:-)
Pjazzy: See, this whole thing with OJ doesn't surprise me at all because the man is a complete narcissist. I believe that murder acquittal probably even reinforced this whole thing. That's why he's never just kept to himself and or left the country or something. This guy is out taunting police, rumors of drugs and beating women, writing books called "If I Did It".....please! I saw in an article that he was upset with because he's not going to be able to see his kids graduate from college after he got them through college.
My opinion, it was only a matter of time and thank goodness no one lost their lives this time.
I'm predicting you'll see Robert Blake again, too in the news just like OJ. They're kind of the same personality to me.
I don't really know much about this case, so I can't comment really on the appropriateness of the conviction. I can say, however, that a lot of people see this as a vindication of the 1995 murder verdict.
I never liked Simpson, actually. I thought he was a lousy actor, and as a football player he ran roughshod over my favorite teams. I hated his conservatism, and some of his conduct. I don't believe that he murdered anyone. But that doesn't matter. The dominant public narrative says that he did, and that this is reason enough to convict him of another crime, whether he committed it or not.
I think thereis something to Rock Chick's feeling that Simpson is a narcissist...this doesn't mean he is destined to this life or these charges...but he is addicted to attention. I feel we can see this disorder in his body language and eyes.
I think he was caught on tape in Vegas so I think it' a no-brainer...but then I don't l aways understand law or trials. His life is now a very sad story arc and a very criminal one convicted or not.
It's unbelievable to me that he would get into trouble again, he was very lucky 13 years ago...so I would have thought he'd lay low. But a narcissist can't "lay low".
I wonder if the family's of the victims will get the sports paraphernalia now?
O.J. never impressed me as being smart he was a good football player thats it so to say he`s a killer i dont think he`s smart enough to do it w/o being caught as he was on these latest charges on video etc. he got brave to do this strong arm robbery after he got away with having someone else do the dirty work(Al Cower)and that other dummy (Kato Kalin)kill those people so he dont need to see the streets again treat him like the criminal he is later. B.B.
RC, I got you all stirred up about the Juice :-) He's never going to see the light of day, so don't sweat it. You really think we will hear from Robert Blake again?
X., you don't like O.J.'s acting? Unbelievable! He was a great athlete, which does not mean he is a going to be a great actor. Some athletes fare better than others in the acting arena. I am with you that he is being punished for what a major portion of society thinks he did in the past.
Candy, Rock Chick is right, O.J. is a narcissistic bastard that should have blended into the woodwork, but he just couldn't. I'll bet he won't be in the news every other week now.
Uncle, O. J. is an idiot, what can I say. He got away with one and every time I looked around he was in the news for something else. I kept saying "Why don't he sit his dumb ass down somewhere?" But he just couldn't, but I bet he will now. Thanks for stopping by.
I believe he killed his wife and Goldman so it was just Karma.
