Wanda Sykes has just come out the closet so to speak. According to Ms. Sykes, she felt compelled to reveal her sexual preference after the passing of California's Proposition 8 which banned gay marriages. Sykes said that she was never hiding the fact that she was gay and that everyone who knows her personally knows her sexual orientation and that she in a committed relationship. I can't understand why anyone cares if two people who love each other get married. My opinion, this should be a non-issue. It should be allowed and not allowing it is discrimination as far as I'm concerned. I was very disappointed when Prop 8 passed in California.
I agree with Wanda, if you are against same sex marriage don't marry someone of the same sex. Seems like a whole lot of to-do about something that is not really important in the whole scheme of things.
