Old School Fridays - Make Up Song

Last week Old School Fridays highlighted breakup songs and this week it is the flip side or make up songs. I had a hard time thinking of an appropriate song, wanting to go with The Emotions "The Best Part Of A Love Affair, Is Making Up After Breaking Up" which was unavailable on video. I did come up with this jam by The Ojays. You can never go wrong with these guys. This meme was developed by Marvalus View and Ms. Grapevine. The rules are simple:

1. Anyone can participate; any music genre

2. Old School is defined as music created before 1999

3. No offensive words allowed, please use edited radio version

4. Post a video of your favorite Old School song to take us back down memory lane

5. Add your name to the meme list so that others can check you out

6. Have fun & don't forget to leave comments for other participants

I came by to look at your Thursday 13 (Good list by the way. Some surprises for me.) I had not heard of "Old School Fridays." Yours is the first I have come across. I'll be looking for it again.

My 13 is here.

I kind of like this Old School Fridays meme...I might give it a try.

But really? "Old school" is pre-1999? LOL That makes me feel really old :)

You know, not a single song comes to mind. I've had far more experience breaking up than making up.

This song brings to mind very good memories. Great choice this OSF. Have a great weekend.

The video wouldn't play, but if it was the O'jays, Cried Together, I know it very well. Happy OSF!

I'm with RockChick, if Old School is pre-1999 then what am I - Prehistoric School?

Well from one old dinosaur, thanks for the Ojays!

I dug back into the stone age for my video, lol.

I haven't heard this in awhile... superb choice! I am glad that people are posting these songs on You Tube. Even if there isn't performance footage, it's still cool to hear these tunes.
