Let's see what happens in the new year with this Elon Musk presidency. It

This blog is named after a book by Jacqueline Jones Royster. While my goals for this blog are not quite as lofty as Ms. Royster's (promoting literacy and social change) I do intend to address ideas, philosophies, and policies that need to change. Since I consider myself a sociologist I will focus on anything social, which basically covers everything under the sun and then some. Topics will include my take on politics, music, sports, family issues, literature, to name a few.

Yup, she was a Pip. God, I'm sorry. After writing my OSF post I got stuck in corny comments.
Messing with the theme again, you know me gotta live outside the box, break the rules and just generally wreak havoc and let loose the dogs of tunes.
I can't argue with your choice.
oh wow!! she is great!! no one can sing like Gladys!! excellent!!
Happy OSF Day,
Au Naturale aka Bria of U Betta Recognize
Ms Knight is superb. Her voice is beautiful and so soulful.
No question, Gladys - with her southern, soulful, down-home, gospel... there are too many adjectives to describe her. But she definitely should be considered the best of all time.
Someone last week went with Gladys--you reminded me again why I am often sad to listen to the current crop of female singers. Timeless lady, timeless voice!
Happy OSF!
Happy OSF! Gladys had a serious voice. Is she still with Les Brown?
I invite your blog readers to see my selection as the Greatest of All Times. Can you say 'MJ'!
peace, Villager
Gladys is definitely one of the G.O.A.T.s.
You definitely cannot go wrong with Gladys. No way no how.
Happy OSF!
How could I have not considered Ms. Gladys as my pick! She is one-of-a-kind without a doubt!! Nice pick!
Great pick! She has a beautiful voice.
