This blog is named after a book by Jacqueline Jones Royster. While my goals for this blog are not quite as lofty as Ms. Royster's (promoting literacy and social change) I do intend to address ideas, philosophies, and policies that need to change. Since I consider myself a sociologist I will focus on anything social, which basically covers everything under the sun and then some. Topics will include my take on politics, music, sports, family issues, literature, to name a few.

I just love watching those two, coming in and out of events as they please, and walking away with boatloads of grand slam trophies.
I heard one European player complain that these sisters have to many muscles. But the Williams sisters have to have muscles. They have to lift those trophies over their head after a long grueling tennis match, and those things are heavy.
Yeah X.,
The William sisters are awesome, but I know it pains them to compete against one another. Too many muscles? What a joke!
The Williams Sisters have too many muscles... that's one of the silliest things I ever heard. There is a really good book called "Venus Envy" that takes a behind the scenes look at the WTA.
Funny!
