One of my favorite songs to date. I love Chaka, she was so fine back then, she was Beyonce before there was such a thing. Great choice.
Tell Me Something Good will always be a hit for me.
PJazzy you gon' make me hurt myself! I played that song and thought I was a teenager again! Those were some dayz! Chaka can really bring it. Best of all time? Maybe.
Chaka was looking fierce. Go'n head girl.
Love, love, love Chaka. She is amazing.
ALL RIGHT NOW!!!!!
She is my favorite old school female artist(Favorite male is Marvin)!!
You can never go wrong with Chaka!
That was the JAM!!!
Gotta love Chaka. The hubby still gets all misty-eyed when he talks about seeing a young, sleek Chaka perform in some Chicago park, back in the day (LOL). I'll have to treat him to his video (smile).
I agree with Mrs. G...Chaka was a fox back in the day and could sing her face off!
Wait...she still is and still can!
Great Choice!
I just recently found this on CD and added it in my library.
This brings back some serious memories for me!
Sorry I missed your OSF on Friday! Spank me now!
You were 'telling me something good' and I wasn't there to hear it until this morning! Plus I found out you're five years younger than me, lol!
Hope you had a great weekend, Pjazzy!
It was always a treat when I got to stay up late to watch "The Midnight Special". I really enjoyed hearing this live version of "Tell Me Something Good".
ooooo! I love this cut! "Grew up" on this cut. Fresh out of college and thought I knew everything until I met him and....
OMG! Girl stop it! You took me way way back on this one. And that could be dangerous. But I'm going to go back and listen to it again! LOL!
