This week the theme is Crooners. I could have went with the obvious, i. e. Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Frankie Beverly or even my beloved Stevie Wonder. However I decided to go with arguably the most exciting crooner of the seventies, The Teddy Bear himself, Teddy Pendergrass. He had jeans named after him and even had concerts attended by a female ONLY audience. Unfortunately his world crumbled on one fateful night when an tragic automobile accident left him a quadriplegic.1. Anyone can participate; any music genre

What a gorgeous picture of Teddy Pendergrass. I still can't believe what an incredible life story he has and how long since he has made his way in public performances. I also felt my heart strings pulled thinking of Luthar Vandross who I loved.
I think I might go pick up Pendergrass's autobiography, inspired by this post...
